Everyone told you to “just get more certifications.” They lied. 📜🚫
The ultimate hiring filter in tech is not a multiple-choice exam. It is this question: Can you actually build it? 🛠️
If you have 8 certificates and 0 projects, you are waving a massive red flag to hiring managers. It tells us you know how to pass a test, but you have no idea how to survive in a production environment.
Here is the exact rule you need to follow from now on: 1 Cert = 1 Project.
☁️ EC2 → Don’t just read about it. Host a live website.
🔐 IAM → Create users, break their permissions, and fix them.
🐳 Docker → Containerize a basic Python or Node.js app.
☸️ Kubernetes → Deploy that container to a local cluster.
If you want to know which certifications are actually worth your time:
✅ A-Tier (To Start): AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
🏆 S-Tier (For the Money): AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Terraform Associate, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

💾 Save these 4 Linux commands + Follow for Ep 6 👇

AWS is just the landlord. Linux is what actually lives inside the rooms. 🐧🏢
The biggest trap beginners fall into is jumping straight into AWS before learning basic Linux commands.
If your app crashes, AWS will still show a green “Running” status because the hardware is technically still turned on. To figure out why the code actually broke, you have to look inside.
You don’t need to be an expert, but you MUST know these 4 commands:
1️⃣ top → Is your app even running?
2️⃣ df -h → Is your server’s storage 100% full?
3️⃣ tail → What does the error log say?
4️⃣ ls -l → Does the app actually have permission to run?
Master the foundation before you build the house. 🛠️

1️⃣ The Foundation (Linux & Networking) Learn how to SSH into a server, open network ports, and read error logs.
2️⃣ Automation (Git & CI/CD) Build a GitHub Actions pipeline that automatically tests and deploys code the second it gets pushed.
3️⃣ Containers & Cloud (Docker & AWS) Package your app in Docker and deploy it to ONE cloud provider. (Stick to AWS first).
4️⃣ Infrastructure & Observability (Terraform & Grafana) Write your infrastructure as code using Terraform, and set up Grafana alerts so you know exactly when a server goes down.
5️⃣ The Proof (Real Projects) Tutorials won’t get you hired. Build 3 messy projects, break them, and document exactly how you fixed them on your GitHub.
Don’t learn randomly. Follow the order. Build the proof. 🛠️
