Honesty hour: Have you been dropped by a contractor before?

Fast is, when you commission subcontractors without clear direction, they have the right to terminate their contracts.

The top three reasons I share are not the only reasons why this may occur, but it provides an idea of how it may happen.

If you want your desired result to be completed thoroughly, the details must be provided in this manner. I try to provide as much detail as possible and am an open book if any clarification is required.

We're sick of juggling all of the tasks, which is why we're seeking support.

As a newcomer to the business world, I was exhausted each week, wondering how others were thriving, building success, marketing their business, and handling everything.

I'd wonder, 'How are they doing all of the things and still showing up on a daily basis?'

Typically, we strive to have our backend affairs working for us; however, how do we get there?

There are so many incredible possibilities when we set up and manage our operations properly...

We often talk more about the end of a project instead of its buildup. I think this is because it's easier to focus on an unchangeable deadline than to give yourself milestones that lead up to it. Maybe it's time to challenge that. 🤔 Maybe not? 💭

I want to know if it's better to prioritize a project's timeline or deadline❓ Which method works best for you and why? 🧐

I'll go first, I choose project timelines because tending to projects in order of x,y, and z helps me stay on track. 💁🏾‍♀️ Now, your turn!

Sounds easy right? It stumps online biz owners often & I am here to fill in the details.

It is critical to maintain your relationship with the contractor before, during, and after you work with them. You never know when that could lead to your next referral or permanent team member. 😉

The purpose of homework is to provide context to the contractor so that you do not waste any more of your limited time. You may be well-versed in your business, but they are not.

Expansion does not happen overnight. The way you approach hiring subcontractors will influence how you approach permanent team members later on.

Nuture those relationships

Professional. Personal. ALL relationships that involve individuals who have your best interest in mind and vice versa.

You never know whom will provide you with your next referral.

Sustainability

Get that Green Thumb Working! They say you should always have something else living within your space other than yourself - a plant fills that void perfectly

Allow them to beautify your life while also serving as a reminder and support to take care of yourself on a regular basis.
