Call for Scripts

NTF is looking for feature length scripts to produce. We are looking for original narrative works with commercial potential in budget ranges suitable for independent film production.

The work must be original. We are not looking for derivative works or adaptations. The work must be feature length and first-draft complete - roughly 100 pages long.

To help us give your script the attention it deserves, please do the following:

1. Submit scripts in PDF format using industry standard formatting. When printed, the script should be roughly 100 pages long.

2. Register your script with the WGA (http://www.wgawregistry.org) before submitting it to us.

3. Include accurate contact information with the script.

4. Include a very brief synopses of the script. Be sure to clearly identify the genre. This brief synopses is your pitch: make it make us want to read your script.

Doing the above will help ensure that we can read and reply with our notes on your script.

Please submit scripts to: [email protected]

Thank you.

CHARACTER BIOS

Character Bio - Ianto - Male, 20s

Ianto is a twenty-something shark. He's sharply handsome, blunt, direct, sarcastic, eats with his mouth open, smokes too much, vainly touches his muscles in the mirror in the morning before he gets dressed, loves Axe Body spray, and hates sushi. He admires bankers and ambulance-chasing lawyers. Despite his sociopathic tendencies, he is loyal to his friends and tries to do his best by them and give his friends good advice, though the quality of his advice can often be suspect. Ianto grew up with Daniel and they met Becka online. Ianto thinks they make a cute couple and considers his match-making efforts on their behalf one of his life's accomplishments.

Character Bio - Becka - Female, 20s

Becka is a pretty young woman in her early twenties. She never goes anywhere without her mobile phone, lives on Facebook, and loves Science Fiction. She's a post-goth, semi-geeky gamer girl who regular beats down her male friends in Team Fortress 2. Her favorite childhood experience was attending a Babylon 5 convention dressed as a Minbari. She met Ianto and Daniel playing games online and became friends with them in real-life. She's beginning to think life might be more than playing online games, drinking, and dating a slacker. She loves sushi and would never consider dating a man who couldn't swallow a raw piece of fish.

Character Bio - Daniel - Male, 20s

Daniel is in his mid-twenties. He's a bit scruffy, a bit puffy, but cute as a puppy. He'd never admit it to his friends, but he likes to cuddle. He is shy, quiet, thoughtful, prone to depression, and deeply emotional. He has been best-friends with Ianto since "forever" and met Becka when she "pwned" them both playing Counter-Strike online, which only made Daniel fall in love with Becka. Set up by Ianto on their first date, which was months ago, he decided Becka was "the one". He's out of college with a computer degree, but has had trouble finding a really good job. He drinks cheap beer and, unlike Ianto, loves sushi.
