Ellum Thicket neighbor Muj Badar would like to know if other ETNP neighbors are interested in participating in the Extended Neighborhood Patrol program which would hire off duty Dallas police officers to patrol our neighborhood. If you would like more information and to participate in the program please complete the below form that Mr. Badar created.

The monthly Elm Thicket/Northpark food distribution, which takes place the first Friday of every month, will NOT happen this coming Friday because it is the July 4th holiday. We are hard at work on the June 2025 issue of the ETNP News. We have so many great photos from the Mother's Day event we thought we should some of our favorites on our page. If you are 60 or older and want to join a fun group of neighbors for fellowship, food, field trips, bingo and so much more then please reach out to Active Senior Adult Program Asst. Elm Thicket/Northpark neighbors check out this story. For those of you with kiddos and who like skate or ride BMX bikes and want a safe place for them to ride and work on their tricks then this is a story you need to read. The Bachman Lake Skatepark opened this weekend and it's fantastic. It's located on the northside of Bachman Lake at Denton Drive and Webb Chapel. It's so close to our neighborhood it would be a shame not to take advantage of this park. Thanks to D6 Councilman Omar Narvaez, former Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano, and D6 Park Board Member Tim Dickey and Friends of Bachman Lake for making this park happen.

Defenders of cool have a park to call their own as the Bachman Lake Skatepark opens. The park is part of the Bachman Lake renassaince.
