We're accepting prepackaged, easy-to-open snack items through Saturday, July 11th at 12:00 PM. Please see the attached flyer for suggested donation items and drop-off information.

Early voting is underway for the primary elections. When we voted today there had only been 4 voters at the Grauwyler Recreation Center. It's been said that democracy dies in darkness. It also dies from we the people not exercising our right to vote. Please, please, please make sure you vote in this run-off election. Great News: The Bachman Lake Indoor Pool is OPEN. This is the only completely ADA pool in the city park system. It's been closed for a couple of years so it's great to finally have it open. D6 Councilperson Laura Cadena posted the following information concerning an upcoming pool party on May 20. Please see the information below for more details.

To celebrate, Council Member Laura Cadena, Dallas Aquatics, and Dallas Park and Recreation Department invite the community to a Back to Summer Splash 💦 on Tuesday, May 20, from 5–8 p.m. at Bachman Indoor Pool, 2750 Bachman Drive, Dallas, TX 75220. 📍
🍔 The first 50 guests will receive free food, and activities will include a pool party 🏖️, scavenger hunt 🔎, kids coloring pages 🎨, pictures with Lifesaver 📸, and swim lesson scholarship applications 🏊‍♂️✨
