I recently saw that Detroit Lions’ David Montgomery wore his Boy Scout merit badge sash to a game to spark a conversation about how Scouting was so important to him. I decided to find mine and bring it work also. As we are about to begin our 10,000 for the Troops holiday card drive, Cub Scouts across America are helping us out this year, I wanted to give a shout out to them and to those who’ve also walked down the scouting trail .america

Would you be interested in adopting this cat with the shape of Texas on its chest? It was found on the island of Hawaii, but there aren’t enough people on the island for adoption. I often like to discover and explore forgotten abandoned places in the metroplex. In East Fort Worth, I wandered up the remains of Meadowbrook Drive In Theatre. The top of the screen can still be seen from I 30 but the marquee is hidden among decades of overgrowth and neglect. I find a strange beauty in places like this #
