9:20am update: Light snow has moved in! This could limit visibility at times. Additional accumulations should remain light. Temperatures will climb in the next couple of hours causing melting of wintry precip on the ground. #wfaaweather
5:30am update: Another band of snow has developed over DFW! This is mostly in the form of flurries. Some sleet may be mixing in with snow in Dallas County.
Some wrap around moisture is producing some snow in far western North Texas.

3:35 am update - A smaller snow band is exiting the metroplex to the east. A few flurries may still fly over the next few hours. Temperatures are around 32. Roads are still wet and it may be slick, especially on bridges and overpasses.

It's a mess of precip types across the area tonight. The transition to all snow is sweeping east from the west. This will drop about an inch of snow as it moves through nearly all of NTX tonight and overnight. #wfaaweather

Lots of fluctuations between precip types (rain/sleet/snow) near the I-20 corridor. It's mainly snow and sleet near US-380 and north. That's where totals are already approaching 3"-4".. This back-and-forth continues before a transition to all snow happens tonight #wfaaweather

6:30am update: Reports of precipitation now reaching the ground! Sleet in Graham is sticking to elevated surfaces and sleet now reported in Hillsboro. Roads also look damp on our Weatherford cameras! Coverage goes up over the next couple of hours. #wfaaweather
5:00am update - Winter precipitation has arrived in North Texas! As of now, it looks like light rain/sleet mix for our western counties. Some flurries have developed closer to I-35, but flurries are likely not reaching the ground yet.
