This year, TXMPA is celebrating 20 years of supporting and advocating for Texas film, television, video game development, and digital media. Industry peers from all over the state will be attending a special anniversary party, and the Mary Collins Agency is a proud event sponsor! For two decades, TXMPA has worked to strengthen the Texas media production industry and support the creators, businesses, and communities that help it thrive. Louanne Stephens had a ball (a football even?) at ATX Festival's 20th Anniversary Reunion! In addition to this official photo booth pic from TV Insider/TV Guide Magazine (image 1), Louanne was part of podcast interviews, panels (image 2), and will even be featured on The Today Show soon! She also got to kick up her specialty-branded Tecovas heels (image 3) at a fun "homecoming" after-party. My my! Clear eyes, full heart, can't lose indeed! Congrats to all involved in such a special Texas show!

Many of you already know we lost our long-time actor, Julie Mayfield, back in November. Her memorial will be on Saturday, April 25th, at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Denton, Texas. A reception will follow in the Miller Center.

Julie signed with the agency in 1990, early in her career, and she hit the ground acting! She could do just about everything–commercials, industrials, voiceovers, film and television–and is especially known for her work in games and anime. She was beloved, a very bright light, and the warmest and funniest person you’d ever want to know. We already miss her so much, and look forward to celebrating her life!
