Party of the month? Nah, party of the year 🎶✨

Somehow convinced myself that heels were a good idea after running my first marathon that morning. Let’s just say the adrenaline was REAL💃
blackwell threw the most incredible Vegas-themed party, & she definitely brought Vegas to Texas ♦️🎲 I love when people commit to a good theme, the outfits were insane!!!

Speaking of commitment…you can’t go to Vegas without a dirty martini, right? So naturally, that’s what we became. I looked at Coy and said, “Hey babe, you’re going to be an olive jar for Halloween this year”🍸😂

Worth every sore muscle and blistered toe✨🍾

10/10 don’t recommend showing up to your first marathon with zero training, but also 10/10 one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done🏃‍♀️

One day last month I just decided to run 26.2 miles on pure audacity and vibes…No training plan, no prep, just me and my completely unearned confidence🙃

Mile 15 I s**t under a bridge. Around mile 17 I hit a wall. I started questioning every life choice that led me here. By mile 20 I was having a full conversation with my knees asking for forgiveness. Mile 22 was a blur of pain, determination, and possibly an out-of-body experience.

But somewhere between wanting to quit and actually crossing that finish line, I found something I didn’t know I had✨ Was this smart? Absolutely not. Am I going to feel this for the next week? Oh definitely. Would I do it again? Ask me when I can walk normally.

Right now though, sitting here with my medal and my extremely angry leg muscles, I’m just really proud of myself for being delusional enough to try. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I’m feeling every single emotion all at once. (Peep the ugly cry😂😅)

To everyone who trains properly for marathons: you were so right and I respect you deeply. To everyone who said I was crazy: also correct. But I did it. And that’s something💪🏼

Spent the night at my favorite music venue 💃🤠 Less than 2 hours from Dallas, I really don’t think it could get better!

Right now they are doing a 1.4 million dollar giveaway in cash and trucks with through Sept 27th, so pick a weekend and go!!

Who’s coming with me to the concert here Oct 9th followed by the GOAT Oct 10th?!?🤌🏼

We got a front row seat to natures greatest show and it’s these exact scenes I’ll replay in my head the rest of my life. Life is wild.

I used to travel to see the touristy structures and locations, but I’ve learned that the magic is in the people of the places you go✨

So far we’ve hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored waterfalls, made our own coffee, rope swung into hot springs, took a traditional cooking class, met lots of locals, have seen elephants & lions in the Serengeti, had our hearts broken a little bit seeing some of the people here struggling to survive, bonded over some crazy moments, learned Swahili phrases, danced our hearts out, prayed, cried, laughed…. but it’s still not over yet
