The historic Sons of Hermann Hall was shaking for the KNON 89.3 FM benefit event, and the lineup did not disappoint! Thunderosa kicked things off by bringing the heat all the way from Austin, delivering a relentless dose of their signature southern-fried original rock 'n' roll. Frank Meyer (of The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs) kept the energy running hot, tearing up the stage with an incredible performance. The Strains absolutely blew the roof off the place to close it out! Straight out of Detroit, they brought that raw, high-energy punk rock and garage band sound that left everyone completely floored. Huge thanks to all the bands and everyone who came out to support community radio and witness an unforgettable guitar onslaught!

🎸 Inside The Punk Rock Museum with Dave Chaos & Jaret Reddick! 🤘
KNON's very own Station Manager, Dave Chaos, took a trip out to Las Vegas and stopped by the incredible The Punk Rock Museum!

While exploring decades of punk history, Dave caught up with North Texas legend Jaret Reddick of Bowling for Soup to talk about why this museum matters so much. From its deep roots in community, diversity, to why it feels just like KNON—a place where everyone is welcome, no judgment.

Since KNON hit the airwaves in 1983, we’ve been spinning punk rock and supporting the artists who broke the mold. Check out the video to see a glimpse of the exhibits, some killer punk memorabilia, and hear Jaret's take on why you need to book a tour next time you're in Vegas!
