Big news for Valeria Velasco 👀🎬💫

Valeria will appear as Teen Elena in Las Hijas de Rosalía, a moving short film premiering at Tribeca as part of the brand new COLECTIVO program - an initiative uplifting the next generation of Latino storytellers, created in partnership with the Miranda Family Fund and the Hispanic Federation.

Written and directed by Maria Mealla, Las Hijas de Rosalía tells the story of two sisters discovering the depth of their bond and the lasting magic of their mother’s love through a series of dreamlike vignettes.

🎟️ World premiere: Monday, June 9 at the Indeed Theatre at Spring Studios, followed by a special conversation with the filmmakers and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

We’re beyond proud to share that Kelsey Pribilski Ray stars in the leading role of Man Finds Tape, a chilling new horror film making its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this June!

Directed by Peter Hall and Paul Gandersman, this Texas-made thriller will debut as part of the Escape from Tribeca lineup on June 8 at 8:30pm at Village East by Angelika.

Even better? She’s not the only Bankstonite bringing the scares - Brian Villalobos, Mia King, and John Gholson also appear in the film. Congrats to the entire cast and crew on this incredible achievement!
