Texas’ temperatures continue to vary wildly, but today it’s sunny and 73° so I sat on the patio to finish my book and get some fresh air.
This is a Cuban SF surrealist dystopian novel, translated from the Spanish and published by Deep Vellum, a local indie pub who specialize in translated works.

The results of the 2021 Hugo Awards, basically science fiction's Oscars, were announced last night at WorldCon. We are happy to announce that A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher won the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book.
