It seems that the lock I bought has the keys locked onto it. I wonder if this has been a problem for other folks. I figured there must be a solution but I can't quite put a finger on it.

I noticed today that the berry-flavored Lucky Charms cereal (top) my seven-year-old purchased has the same shapes as Meow Mix dry cat food (bottom).

41-but-42F next week, US size 10 shoes (but 8.5 in men's if I want to save money on sneakers), no banana because that makes the cereal way too fruity.

In the U.S. at this time of year, weather forecasters start talking about “black ice”. The term refers to ice that has formed on asphalt (dark surface) roads. This term annoys me greatly, as they are talking about “ice”. It’s like saying “flying airplane” or “automobile with wheels”. “Black” is a modifier used by people who are driving too fast given the road conditions. I will admit “Black Ice” exists if you can tell me how it is different from “Ice”.

I ordered a T-shirt. It came and it’s lovely but in the box was this metal cylinder that looks like it belongs on a keychain. But the implements in it are very strange. I have no idea what they are for. There is no handle to put any of them on. No bananas in the house, however the teabag is for scale.

This 9 pack of toilet rolls has been sat outside the bathroom (where toilet rolls are kept) since Friday. I put them on the stairs after a shop hoping someone would take them up to the bathroom and this is as far as whoever moved them was prepared to take them.
It is now a battle of wills. I have not mentioned them on purpose, because I'm waiting to see if anyone will think to move them into the bathroom where they belong. 6 days and counting 😆
I think the kids (not kids really they're 20 and 21) will break first because they have no spare loo roll in the bathroom which they use whereas the ensuite that I use still has a spare one and most of a roll on the holder.
My partner is by no means not guilty of ignoring the loo rolls, he has been off work for the whole time so has walked past them to and from our bedroom every day.

My wife made this painting on a whim. She is not a professional painter. This has become one of our most heated points of contention. I adore it and for no particular reason, want to keep it as an art piece in our bedroom.She has attempted to steal it back and paint over it, as she thinks it's not very good.

Despite my reasoning skills she doesn't see thr art the way I do. I dint belive that it needs to be classified as good or bad, but rather I just enjoy having it and looking at it.

I've placed it next to my side of the bed so I can see it daily. She has finally stopped attempts at removing the piece from our humble home.

I'm still a young adult, but recently have been wondering why I don't feel like a "grown up". Today that changed. I noticed the local grocery store had a sale on beef, $2.99 per pound if you buy a 10 pound tube. So I went and bought the tube, divided it up, then popped it all in the freezer. I'm not sure why this is what made me feel grown up, maybe it's the fact I follow this store on Facebook, or because I remember my parents making me hold open ziplocks so they could freeze meat they got on sale. Either way, I finally feel like a grown up all because of a good deal on beef.

First post, here goes nothing.

I’m an avid scrub daddy user for dishes and general cleaning. It’s best paired with dawn platinum plus power wash spray in my opinion.

This scrub daddy has been a member in the kitchen for going on 3 months now and I just don’t have it in me to retire him, even though he now appears to be scrub great grandpa.

I think he’s near the end of his working career. Luckily he has a family member to replace.

36 M, it was 5 degrees this morning and 20 this afternoon. No bananas in this house.
