🌭 Classic Hotdog Recipe
🧾 Ingredients (Makes 4 Hotdogs)
4 hotdog buns
4 beef, pork, or chicken hotdog sausages (your preference)
Butter (optional, for toasting buns)
Water or oil (for boiling, pan-frying, or grilling)
🍯 Basic Condiments
Ketchup
Yellow mustard
Sweet pickle relish
Chopped onions (raw or sautéed)
🔥 Cooking Methods
1. Boiled Hotdogs (Traditional)
Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add hotdogs and simmer for 5–6 minutes.
Remove and let rest briefly before placing in buns.
2. Grilled Hotdogs (Smoky and Snappy)
Preheat grill to medium-high.
Grill hotdogs for about 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and heated through.
3. Pan-Fried Hotdogs (Quick & Crispy)
Heat a skillet with a small amount of oil or butter.
Sear hotdogs on all sides for 4–6 minutes until browned.
🍞 Toasting the Buns (Optional but Recommended)
Spread a bit of butter on the inside of each bun.
Toast face-down on a hot skillet or grill until golden.
