A special moment celebrating the debut of Tam Brown’s first collection and the continued artistic vision of one of Austin’s only Black-owned art galleries. This experience feels especially full circle for me—I once walked past this gallery while struggling with postpartum depression, feeling sad and lost, never imagining that one day I would be part of an incredible show here, representing such a beautiful and inspiring community of people. Moments like these remind me that healing, growth, and dreams can exist in the same story. 🩷✨

Back in elementary I had a friend group and we called each other the black eyed peas 🥹😆

No matter how many years pass, some people still refuse to accept a Black Eyed Peas lineup without Fergie

While the group existed long before she joined, there's no denying that Fergie became the face of their most successful era. After officially joining in 2002, she helped transform the Black Eyed Peas into a global pop phenomenon with albums like Elephunk and Monkey Business.

The group went on to dominate charts worldwide with massive hits including I Gotta Feeling, Boom Boom Pow, and Meet Me Halfway.

That's why so many fans still associate the Black Eyed Peas with Fergie first and foremost. Even though she stepped away from the group's active lineup around 2017 to focus on family and solo projects, many listeners feel like the band's most iconic chapter is inseparable from her voice and presence.
