Calvert Collins-Bratton officially stepped into her role as President and CEO of Klyde Warren Park on September 1, marking a new chapter for one of Dallas' most beloved civic spaces.
Collins-Bratton brings more than a decade of history with the Park, including her tenure as Chair of the Dallas Park and Recreation Board, where she championed investment in public spaces across the city. Most recently, she served as the Chief Relationships Officer at Communities Foundation of Texas, leading donor engagement and corporate philanthropy efforts across North Texas.
Her appointment followed a search led by former Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, a member of the Foundation's Board of Directors. "Calvert stood out in every respect," Leppert said. "The committee is confident she is the right leader at the right time."
Since 2012, Klyde Warren Park has welcomed more than 2 million visitors annually, connecting Uptown and the Dallas Arts District as one of the city's most recognized civic spaces. Collins-Bratton now leads the Park forward as it moves ahead on its recently announced expansion.
