Children learn best when learning feels meaningful. Today Alejandro was washing fruit, counting, cutting, and following directions.
To him, it felt like helping in the kitchen. To me, it was math, language development, fine motor practice, and confidence-building all rolled into one.
💛 That's the beauty of hands-on learning.
This summer, we'll be bringing that same approach into our Little Chefs and Junior Chefs Spanish Immersion Camps, where students learn Spanish naturally through cooking, creating, and meaningful conversations.

Sometimes Sally and I sit back and think about how far this little classroom has come. 💛🐾
What started with a passion for teaching Spanish has grown into a community of incredible learners and families from around the world.
And while I can't share all the exciting things just yet... let's just say there are some wonderful things on the horizon. ✨
For now, I'll keep doing what I love most:

One of the most beautiful parts of teaching Spanish is helping children discover that language is connected to people, traditions, stories, and cultures around the world. 🌎💛
In Little Chefs, every recipe becomes an opportunity to travel, explore, and learn.
As children create recipes inspired by Spanish-speaking countries, they naturally build vocabulary while developing a deeper appreciation for the cultures behind the language.
Because learning Spanish is about so much more than memorizing words.
It's about making meaningful connections that last a lifetime.
