“He gave you night to rest and day to see — yet how few truly reflect.”
— Qur’an 40:61–62
Every sunrise and every quiet night is a personal reminder from Allah — but how often do we pause and notice?
In these verses, Allah calls us to reflection, not just belief.
He reminds us: “It is Allah who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day giving sight. Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people are not grateful.”
(40:61)
Every time you wake up to light after darkness — that’s not just nature, that’s mercy.
Every night when silence wraps around you, giving your heart a break — that’s divine care.
But we rush.
We scroll through daylight and sleep through gratitude.
We forget that the same light that helps us see the world was created to help us see the Creator.
Verse 62 follows with a reminder:
“That is Allah, your Lord, Creator of all things; there is no deity except Him. So how are you deluded?”
(40:62)
It’s as if Allah is asking: How can you witness all this — the rhythm of night and day, the precision of time, the harmony of existence — and still forget Me?
These verses aren’t just about astronomy or the passing of time.
They’re about purpose. About alignment. About remembering Who runs the world when life feels too chaotic to understand.
So, pause today when you feel the morning breeze or see the sunset melting into the sky, and remember —
this system, this peace, this balance — it’s all designed for you.
And it’s whispering the same truth:
“You are seen. You are cared for. You are never alone.” 🌙
