Seeing hair stylist Isabeau Chacon work was like watching a painter in their studio 🎨 She's been at it for 14 years, and it sure was a pleasure doing our part to share her talent with the world! This shoot was for content creation with our friends over at Johnny Rodriguez the Salon and we can't wait to create some more. Always a pleasure, y'all!

You can get your hair did by Isabeau herself at JR the Salon's Legacy West location! She specializes in cuts and styling and is a delight to work with 😁 Check her and the salon out!

Here's the thing: almost anyone can learn to do whatever it is that you do (for me, it's engineering), but the only person that can contribute your unique tastes and talents to a project is YOU 💭 YOU are the most valuable thing you can ever offer, so don't be quiet about it 🗣️ SPEAK UP and explore your unique ideas!! Things are more fun that way 📣

One of our favorite pieces of equipment in the studio: our trusty DigiDesign D-Command 🎚️ If you're ever wondering why we're so quick on the draw during a session together, you're looking at the answer 😎 This bad boy puts control over our entire session right at our fingertips, which means a faster workflow and a little less wasted time when we're with our clients. She may not be the bleeding edge of controller technology anymore, but it's stood the test of time and is still everything we need for what we do 🎶

It's different for every project, but I'm usually talking about that intangible quality of a recording that makes you *feel* the music ⚡ It's gotta be "believable" - it's gotta be full of your personality as a person and an artist.
