This Creamy Italian Sub Pasta Salad is loaded with all the classic deli-style flavors you love in an Italian sub, but tossed into a cold, creamy pasta salad. It’s hearty, colorful, crunchy, and perfect for potlucks, BBQs, meal prep, or an easy lunch.
Ingredients
1 box rotini pasta
1 cup diced ham
1 cup pepperoni slices
1 to 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1 cup cubed Colby Jack or cheddar cheese
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup sliced pickles
1/2 cup banana pepper rings
1/4 cup diced red onion
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Italian dressing, optional
Black pepper, to taste
Italian seasoning, optional
Instructions
1. Cook the rotini pasta according to the package directions until tender. Drain and rinse under cold water until completely cooled.
2. Add the cooled pasta to a large mixing bowl.
3. Stir in the diced ham, pepperoni, shredded lettuce, cheese cubes, cherry tomatoes, black olives, pickles, banana peppers, and red onion.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise with Italian dressing, black pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.
5. Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta salad and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can blend.
7. Stir again before serving. Add a little extra mayo or Italian dressing if the pasta absorbs too much while chilling.
Serve cold and enjoy!
