😢With a very heavy heart we wanted to inform you of the sad passing of RPD Nouchka 😢
Nouchka passed away last night with her dad by her side.
Nouchka was a formidable Police Dog and along with her dad were responsible for detaining a huge number of criminals in Lancashire
What a team they were and what a life she had both in work and retirement.
Such was the bond of this pair Nouchka retired to her dad 7 years ago and had been spoiled every day since watching her family at home grow
Her true age was unable to be ascertained when she joined Lancashire Police 12 years ago and whenever her handler was asked her age she was always 8 (she was 8 for years) 🤣
By our reckoning she would’ve been around 15
What an age and what a life.
Rest In Peace Nouchka and we all know who you’re playing with over that rainbow bridge 🌈

K-9 Oya of the North County Police Cooperative, Missouri was deployed after two suspect’s fled from a stolen vehicle. K-9 Oya went after one which ended in her death. Police have not provided details at this time as to what caused her death. Just over 2 weeks ago, the department had announced she received a bullet resistant vest.

Please keep the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Alabama, K-9 Pici (retired) and handler in your thoughts and prayers.

K-9 Pici fought a courageous battle against bone cancer for the past 10 months.

On her final morning, Pici enjoyed one last ride and a special breakfast of sausage biscuits and treats before passing peacefully by her partner's side at the Argo Animal Clinic.
