💪 Kettlebell training may do more than build muscle—it could help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension regain strength and enjoy daily life.

A new study found that just eight weeks of supervised kettlebell exercise helped people with PAH walk farther, breathe more easily, and feel less fatigue during everyday activities. Participants also reported gains in muscle strength, less anxiety and depression, and a better overall quality of life.

Kettlebell training combines full-body movement and aerobic exercise, helping people living with PAH feel more confident and active—all with guidance from a physiotherapist.

A new meta-analysis suggests that add-on Uptravi (selexipag) may help some kids walk farther and may lower pressure in the lung arteries, with mostly mild side effects — but the research so far is based on small studies, and long-term data are still missing.

It’s one more option on the table, not a cure, and any decisions about it should be made with a PH care team that knows your child’s full story.
