Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of becoming an astronaut. I can still remember looking up at the night sky, imagining myself floating among the stars, exploring the unknown, and pushing the limits of what’s possible. That sense of wonder never left me—it has guided my curiosity, my creativity, and my career path.
Today, I’m a professional DJ known as DJ Astronaut, a name I chose to reflect both my love for space exploration and my desire to inspire others to reach for their own “outer limits” in life. Over the past three decades, I’ve performed across the country, bringing people together through music. My goal has always been more than just entertainment—it’s about creating unforgettable experiences, much like the awe of seeing Earth from space for the first time.
I’ve built my business on adaptability, problem-solving, and precision under pressure—all qualities that I know are essential for astronauts. Whether I’m setting up complex audio systems in challenging environments or keeping thousands of guests energized during an event, I thrive in high-stakes situations where focus and teamwork matter most.
The dream of going to space has always been in the background, quietly fueling my drive. I’ve followed every major milestone in spaceflight, from the Shuttle era to the rise of commercial space travel. Blue Origin’s mission to enable millions of people to live and work in space resonates deeply with me because it’s about making the impossible possible for everyday people.
If I have the opportunity to join a Blue Origin flight, it wouldn’t just be a personal dream come true—it would be a moment I could share with my community to inspire the next generation of dreamers, innovators, and explorers. I want to show them that a kid who once looked up at the stars in Dallas, TX & Shreveport, Louisiana, can one day actually touch them.
Space is more than a destination—it’s the ultimate stage for human potential. I’m ready to take my place on that stage, representing not just myself, but everyone who dares to dream big.
