ROLES:
WIFE Female, Late 20s to early 30s. African American, petite to modest build. She is attractive but not a model. She has a brash confidence to her but in many ways is emotionally immature and idealistic to a fault. She wants to love her husband, but his past mistakes coupled with her anxiousness about their marriage does not truly allow her to. Despite all her ramblings and idealism about love, like most others her love is conditional. She is hot-tempered, passionate and naive. LEAD

TINKERER (TINA) Female, Early to mid-30s. Open Ethnicity (Asian, Indian, Hispanic preferred), petite to modest build. She is beautiful enough to trigger Wife’s insecurities. However, she is a woman of science through and through and is committed to her experimental work even if it is illegal. Even in her youth she was seen as slightly eccentric though she was not bullied for it because of her looks. Her science first mentality lends her to pragmatism, muted sarcasm and sometimes an insensitivity to the emotional side of a situation. SUPPORTING

DIRECTOR Male, Mid to late 60s. Caucasian. An older Lex Luthor if he worked for the government. He has an air of authority, bluntness and rigidness about him that suggests ex-military. A die-hard patriot who puts the company before everything else. Depending on which of his peers you ask, some may deem him disciplined and others manipulative. He did not climb to the near top of a clandestine government agency without reason.

Logline: After a blowout fight, a newlywed wife decides to confront her husband's mistress only to find out that she is more or less his maker, and nothing is as it seems.
