Bayang Barrios (born Junelie Otero Barrios) is a multi-award-winning Filipina folk musician, singer-songwriter, and peace advocate from Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. A member of the Manobo (Lumad) indigenous group, she is recognized for integrating traditional Filipino music and instruments into a contemporary folk-pop style.She began her professional journey in Davao City, where she was discovered by musician Joey Ayala. She joined his iconic band, Joey Ayala at ang Bagong Lumad, which pioneered the use of indigenous themes and instruments in mainstream music.In the mid-90s, she embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album Bayang Makulay in 1996.
Notable Songs: Her most famous works include:

"Malayo Man, Malapit Din": Grand Prize winner at the 2003 Metropop Song Festival.

"Bagong Umaga": A song widely known for its themes of resilience and hope.

"Pag Nananalo ang Ginebra": A popular anthem for fans of the Ginebra San Miguel basketball team.She is a member of the trio Tres Marias alongside fellow iconic singers Cooky Chua and Lo**ta Carbon.
