Bayang Barrios (born Junelie Otero Barrios) is a multi-award-winning Filipina folk musician, singer-songwriter, and peace advocate from Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. A member of the Manobo (Lumad) indigenous group, she is recognized for integrating traditional Filipino music and instruments into a contemporary folk-pop style.She began her professional journey in Davao City, where she was discovered by musician Joey Ayala. She joined his iconic band, Joey Ayala at ang Bagong Lumad, which pioneered the use of indigenous themes and instruments in mainstream music.In the mid-90s, she embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album Bayang Makulay in 1996.
