History they never taught you—revealed here.

Did you know the Tulsa Race Massacre wasn’t an isolated tragedy, but one of at least 27 post-Civil War attacks on thriving Black communities? Each event erased stories of excellence and resilience—but not their legacy.

I founded Maham the Mentor Books to share these truths and empower new generations with knowledge that breaks cycles of manipulation. Our work goes beyond books: we champion financial empowerment and mentor those society often overlooks—including incarcerated individuals ready to rewrite their stories.

Unlocking potential behind every locked door.

What if a story could change not just a life, but a community? The Stewardship Publishing Program was born from my own journey—from incarceration to author and mentor—so that incarcerated voices can be heard, valued, and empowered.

This initiative offers mentorship, publishing support, and a platform for authors who too often go unseen. When we invest in their stories, we invest in integrity, transformation, and hope for us all.

If you believe in second chances and the power of authentic voices, I invite you to connect or message me. Together, we can empower incarcerated writers to share their truth and inspire change.

Let’s turn the page—one voice at a time. 📖✨

From prison yard to college graduate.

This diploma isn’t just paper—it’s proof that knowledge can transform a life, no matter where you start. In 2013, I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology from Trinity Valley Community College. What most people don’t see is the journey: orphaned, foster care, gang involvement, and a 15-year prison sentence.

Education was my turning point. It gave me not just skills, but hope and purpose. Today, I mentor others—especially those who feel locked out of opportunity—because I know firsthand the doors learning can open.

Curious how education and empowerment can change your story? Let’s connect and build something greater together. 🎓

History they never wanted you to know.

In 1921, Tulsa’s Black Wall Street was destroyed—over 1,200 Black-owned homes and businesses gone in 24 hours. Yet, the spirit of resilience and innovation survived, echoing through generations.

What lessons can we draw from those who rebuilt after everything was lost?

As someone who transformed my own life from adversity to author and mentor, I believe knowledge is the foundation of empowerment.

If you’re ready to break cycles and build lasting legacy, let’s connect. I share weekly insights to fuel your journey. 🏆

Resilience isn’t given—it’s forged in fire.

From foster care and a 15-year sentence to Baylor grad and business mentor, my journey has always been about rewriting the narrative. Every diploma on my wall is a chapter of struggle, not just success. Each book I write is a blueprint for transformation—especially for those who feel locked out or locked in.

I built Maham the Mentor Books to prove that knowledge is the key to freedom. Today, we’re not just publishing stories—we’re empowering futures, including those still behind bars. If you’re ready to see how resilience can rewrite destiny, let’s connect.

🎓✨ Proud Moment ✨🎓

I am honored to share that I earned my Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business back in December 2013. This achievement represents more than just education—it’s a reminder of resilience, growth, and the drive to keep building opportunities not just for myself, but for others too.

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting businesses—it’s about vision, persistence, and serving your community with solutions. This milestone continues to fuel my journey as a mentor, author, and servant leader.

From prison yard to business plan champion.

In 2013, I held this certificate in my hands—proof that transformation is possible, even behind bars. The Prison Entrepreneurship Program didn’t just teach me about business; it gave me a blueprint for life, rooted in Black history, financial empowerment, and personal growth.

Today, I use those lessons to help others break cycles and build legacies. That’s why I launched Maham the Mentor Books LLC—and why our Stewardship Publishing Program exists: to give incarcerated writers a voice, and a path forward.

Curious how education and lived experience can change everything? Let’s connect. Your next chapter could start here. 🏆

From prison to purpose: my defining moment.

Ten years ago, I earned this certificate—not just as a piece of paper, but as a turning point. I was deep in a 15-year sentence, uncertain if I’d ever see freedom, when I made a decision: reject passivity, accept responsibility, and lead my own transformation.

That journey shaped everything I do today. Every book I write, every mentorship session, and every stewardship publishing opportunity for the incarcerated is rooted in lived experience—not theory.

If you’re ready to turn adversity into fuel for impact, let’s connect. Your story is powerful—and it’s not finished yet. 💡
