That word is SHOULD.

“I should be further along.” “I should have it together by now.” “I should be happier.”

The gap between where you are and where you think you should be is one of the most painful places a person can live. Most of us are living there without even realizing it.

What would change if you replaced should with where am I actually, right now?

WAIT, Where Am I in This? has been named a Finalist in the 2026 International Book Awards, Self-Help: Relationships category.

I’m genuinely grateful. This book started as a conversation I kept having with the people sitting across from me, and the idea that it’s reaching people beyond those sessions is something I don’t take lightly.

If it’s helped you, thank you for letting me know. That’s the whole point. If you haven’t read it yet, I’d love to hear what you think.

“It’s not me. It’s you. You need to change. You need to be better.”

Sound familiar?

When our emotions are fired up, we push everything outward.

The WAIT framework asks a harder question: what if you came back to yourself first? Where are YOU in this?

We have a brand new anonymous episode out today and this one hits close to home, especially if you’re a parent. But this will resonate will everyone.
