It’s quiet right now.

My baby is finally asleep in my arms after hours of crying from reflux. I haven’t eaten a real meal today. The house is a mess. I haven’t cooked. I still have work to do. And honestly, I’m just tired.

Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also heavy sometimes.

When you’re a single mom, you carry everything. The nights when the baby won’t sleep. The doctor appointments. The laundry. The bills. The groceries. The emotional load. The worrying.

You show up even when you’re exhausted. Even when you feel like you have nothing left to give.

And sometimes the hardest part is watching people get to call themselves “dad” because they stop by for an hour here or there, while you’re the one holding everything together every single day.

But I look down at this little girl sleeping on my chest and I remind myself why I keep going.

Because she deserves a mom who doesn’t give up.

To every single mom carrying more than anyone sees… I see you. You’re stronger than you think.
