🎒 North Texas Students Hit the Books Today - And It’s Not Business as Usual!

From Plano to Lewisville and Richardson to Allen, schools are back in session—and with them, a surge of yellow buses, busy crosswalks, and active school zones. Drivers: keep your eyes peeled and your foot light!
This year brings major changes:
• Cell phones? Out of sight, all day - no more scrolling, unless it's medically required.
• Ten Commandments in every classroom - a new state law now mandates them in clear view.
• Plus: longer in-school suspensions, financial literacy credits for high schoolers, and cleaner school meals.

“Back to school” looks different for about 50,000 homeschooled Texans, including many right here in North Texas. With more families choosing flexibility, safety, or a values-driven education - plus new support like up to $2,000 in educational savings accounts - this is becoming the new normal, not a pandemic trend.

While most kids are sharpening pencils and lacing sneakers for a return to public schools, for thousands in North Texas the new school year means something different: continuing on in homeschooling mode.

Actor Dean Cain, known for his role as Superman, has announced he is joining ICE. The move comes as a show of support for the Trump administration's immigration agenda, following a recruitment video Cain posted on Instagram. The Department of Homeland Security has since stated that Cain will be sworn in as an "honorary ICE Officer."

“JOIN ICE!!” exclaimed a Tuesday post from the X account of Dean Cain, an actor best known for his role as Clark Kent/Superman in the four-season 90s show “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”.
