I got tired of justifying influencer rates, so I built a calculator that gives you real numbers for influencer partnerships. Followers aren’t the biggest factor anymore. It’s actually a bit more complicated when you factor all of the variables:

- CPM
- AVV
- Niche
- Platform
- Usage duration
- Whitelisting
- UGC

It’s really not a rate. It’s a scope of work.

Work smarter, not harder. Right? If there is anything Ashley Brock | Paid Ads Coach has taught me, it’s this... I’ve been doing the whole influencer thing wrong.

Spending hours of my life on a sale that drained me, and didn’t make me happy when I saw the #’s come in. This year was the happiest I’ve been doing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I hardly did anything!

No filming days, no batch of new posts. Mostly just sharing links to sales and the things I already use and love. That’s affiliate revenue done right, and almost nobody sets it up right.

If you’re running a real business and brands are already reaching out, or you’re recommending products to people who actually buy them, you’re sitting on income you’re not collecting. You link what you already talk about, someone buys through your link, and you get paid long after the post goes up, while you’re busy running everything else.
