Heart rate hitting 160 before the lights even go out. That’s the red zone.
Managing that stress on the track is a skill. Managing it in real life is a survival tool... especially for my veteran and first responder brothers and sisters.
We talk about "hacking" the response. It’s not about removing the stress: it’s about staying sharp when the pressure is pinned. Deep breaths. Peripheral vision. Dialing in the focus so the world slows down while you’re speeding up.
Whether it’s hitting an apex at 100mph or navigating a heavy day at home, the tools are the same. Stay calm. Stay disciplined.
How do you keep your head clear when the pressure builds?
