What does it look like to make room for Jesus beyond Sunday morning?

Dan Daniels said, “Jesus comes where He is invited in a more tangible way, but He stays where He is honored.” That invitation can be as simple as opening your Bible and asking Him to speak, making space to listen, or welcoming Him into the middle of your day.

In this week’s episode of A Cup Full of Hope, we talk about hosting God’s presence and knowing Him personally. If you’ve been hungry for more of Him, I pray this conversation encourages you to open the door and invite Him in.

Have you been so focused on trying to hear God, feel God, or experience God that you’ve forgotten how close He already is?
He’s right here.
You don’t have to strive for His presence. You don’t have to manufacture an encounter. You can simply stop, make space, and ask, “Lord, I want to encounter You. I want to know what it’s like to live aware of Your presence.”
He is a good Father, and He responds to invitation.
If you’ve felt distant from God lately, this is your reminder: make room for Him today. 🤍

What would change if you invited Jesus into the ordinary moments of your day?

Revelation 3:20 gives us such a beautiful picture of His heart: He stands at the door and knocks, inviting us into fellowship with Him. We don’t have to wait for a church service or a special moment to encounter His presence. We can open the door right where we are.

In this week’s episode, Dan Daniels and I talk about making room for Jesus, honoring His presence, and getting to know Him beyond what we know about Him. If you’ve been longing for a deeper relationship with God, this conversation is for you.

One of the greatest demonstrations of the goodness of God is that He gave us the Holy Spirit.

God didn’t save us and then leave us to figure everything out on our own. He came to dwell within us.

The Holy Spirit takes what was dead and brings it to life. He transforms us, renews us, and makes our hearts a dwelling place for the presence and glory of God.

You were never meant to live the Christian life without His presence.

If you’ve been longing to know the Holy Spirit more deeply, this conversation is for you. 🤍

What does it look like to truly host the presence of God in your everyday life? In this episode, Caroline talks with Dan Daniels about moving beyond simply knowing about God into a life of personal encounter with Him. They discuss the difference between presence and performance, why the Word and the Holy Spirit were never meant to be separated, and how making space for Jesus can transform your life. This conversation will stir your hunger for more of God and remind you that He desires more than occasional visitation—He wants habitation.

Dan Daniels and his wife, Kaylene, are the Senior Pastors of Abide Church in Houston, where they have faithfully served for more than 18 years. Their heart is to raise up generations of people whose highest priority is the presence of Jesus and to build a church marked by faithfulness, reverence, and spiritual maturity. Dan and Kaylene are both ordained Bethel pastors and are passionate about discipleship, generational legacy, and creating environments where the presence of God is not only encountered, but carefully stewarded. Together, they are committed to equipping individuals, families, and leaders to live lives rooted in obedience, faith, and enduring hope.

What if the brokenness around you doesn’t have to become the brokenness within you?

In this episode, Sandy shares a powerful encounter she had with the Holy Spirit as a teenager. As she stood by a creek running through mud, sticks, and everything people had walked through, God showed her something she would carry for years: the water could still remain pure.

The same is true for you. You can live in the middle of dysfunction, disappointment, pain, or circumstances you didn’t choose and still stay rooted in who God created you to be. Your environment does not have to determine what flows through you.

Communion was always meant to draw us back into relationship with Jesus.

It is a moment to remember His body, His blood, His covenant, and everything the cross accomplished for us. Not something we rush through, but an invitation to slow down, receive, remember, and encounter Him again.

In this episode, Sandy Sims shares a powerful perspective on communion and what can happen when we stop making it complicated and simply come back to Jesus.

When life feels uncertain, where do you turn?

Peter’s words in John 6:68 are such a powerful reminder: “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.”

Communion brings us back to that same truth. Jesus is not just part of the answer—He is the answer. We remember His body, His blood, His sacrifice, and the finished work of the cross. We come back to Him again and again because there is nowhere else that offers the life, peace, hope, and security found in Jesus.

In this episode with Sandy Sims, we talk about returning to the presence of God, staying rooted in Him, and remembering who He is even when life feels hard.
