📣 Farewell, Taco Delite 🌮❤️
After nearly four decades serving up tacos, super salads, and lifelong memories, Wylie’s beloved Taco Delite has closed its doors for the last time. Owners Melisa and Terry Greaves say the outpouring of love from the community during their final week was overwhelming — with lines out the door and stories that brought them to tears. 💬
“We just really feel like we’ve been given a chance to actually get out there and do some living,” Melisa said.

CITY OF WYLIE: Crews will have the northbound lanes of Wylie East Drive closed at Brown St. in front of Wylie East High School today. Avoid the area if possible.

A 38-year-old Houston man was arrested in Wylie after police say he targeted church mailboxes, including one at The Cross Church. Thanks to surveillance and license plate cameras, officers caught him in the act. He now faces multiple charges related to mail theft, and the investigation is ongoing.
