This is one of the coolest trikes I have ever ridden, and it was also my first time going over small hills in a different city. From the very first push, I felt something special. The trike moved smoothly, and I could feel the road, the air, and the rhythm of my body working with the machine. Going uphill was challenging, but in a good way. It reminded me that strength comes in many forms, and that effort is something to be proud of. Every small hill felt like a personal victory.
What I loved the most was the feeling of freedom. Being surrounded by mountains made everything feel bigger and calmer at the same time. The fresh air, the open space, and the views reminded me why I love being outside. Moments like this make me forget about limits and focus on possibilities. I was not thinking about what I cannot do. I was focused on what I was doing right then, in that moment.
Trying this trike in a new city also meant trusting myself in a different environment. New streets, new paths, and new sensations can be scary, but they can also be empowering. Every turn I took helped build my confidence. It showed me that exploring does not have to stop because of fear or because things are different. It just means adapting and finding new ways to move forward.
Experiences like this are a reminder of how important accessibility and adaptive equipment are. When we have the right tools, the world opens up. We deserve to feel joy, adventure, and freedom, just like anyone else. Being able to ride through the mountains, feel the sun on my face, and challenge my body was a gift.
