We make soup for Shabbat in class each week! I took apart a Hacky Sack and used it as a pattern to sew a matzah ball! We sing, and each child chooses which item they want to add as the pot is passed around the circle!

Homemade light box!

I labeled transparent chips and plastic shot glasses with a permanent marker. These can be matched to sheet protectors I wrote on with a permanent marker.

You can see three different levels of differentiation here: matching letters, matching letters to their names, and building words!

I can easily store the sheet protectors in a binder and create new ones for students to build words!
