Started my birthday the only way I know how… 🍾 A magnum of Ace of Spades, a boatload of Nobu sushi and caviar, and great friends on a yacht. I thought the champagne pop would be epic… turns out it was a total dud. 😂 Not every moment has to be perfect to make for a perfect day. 🥂✨

My first Chanel! 🦋

When I bought this navy blue Chanel, I didn’t really think it through. 😅 I don’t own much navy in my closet, so I found myself rarely carrying it.

Then I had a fun idea… why not turn it into wearable art? The hand-painted butterflies completely transformed it into a one-of-a-kind conversation piece. I love when fashion meets expressive art.

One of my favorite rooms in a home to design is the powder bath. It’s unexpected, intimate, and the perfect place to make a statement.

While curating the art collection for this home alongside and Johnna Carreño Green, I searched high and low for the perfect piece. Nothing felt quite right… so I borrowed one from our Laguna Beach home. 😉

This photograph is by Slim Aarons, one of the most iconic photographers of the 20th century.

✨ Captured the lives of Hollywood legends, socialites, and the international jet set
✨ Served as a decorated World War II combat photographer before turning his lens to luxury and leisure
✨ Famous for his quote: “Attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.”

The furniture and art throughout the home can be included in the sale… but I might fight you for my Slim Aarons. 😂
