Dylan Bean Crooker lost his best friend when Logan Hale died in December 2021, just four days after his 13th birthday. Hale had first been diagnosed with leukemia in 2020.

For the past four years, Bean Crooker, now a 6-foot-2, 270-pound senior lineman on the Ridgefield football team, has been organizing a night to honor Hale and support the Logan Project at one of the Tigers’ varsity home games.

The Logan Project is part of the Christian McCaffrey Foundation, which Bean Crooker says has provided Christian McCaffrey merchandise, including game-worn items, to be raffled off at this year’s game.
