🐾 Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week – Day 1 🐾

This week, we’re highlighting some of our long-stay animals and why they haven’t found their furever homes…even though they deserve love just like any pet! 🐶

Meet Rocky 🤍
Rocky is naturally shy and cautious with new people, much of which stems from the pain of hip dysplasia. He’s currently on a pain management trial that is proving to be very effective, helping him feel more comfortable and confident every day. Once he feels safe, he’s incredibly sweet—loving belly rubs, snuggles, and showering you with kisses. He’s house and crate-trained, food-motivated, and has a special love for chew bones and play time.

He’s looking for a calm, quiet home with an experienced dog owner. Rocky does well with respectful pups but cannot live with cats. He’s more comfortable with women, and best suited for a home with teens and up.

Why Less-Adoptable: Timid, but he just needs someone to give him a chance and learn to trust you
