If you have an active dog in South Florida, Performance Pups is a great outing for summer! Misha had the best time swimming, running, chasing balls, and making new friends. It was such a fun way to burn off her energy while helping her stay cool in the heat.
The freshwater lake was clean, there was lots of room for the dogs to spread out, and the entire property was well maintained. As someone who DOES NOT do public dog parks, I was iffy on going there. But having staff on-site the entire time made a huge difference. There’s accountability, expectations for behavior, and it’s obvious that any funny business isn’t tolerated. It created a much safer, more enjoyable environment for both the dogs and their people.
Florida summers can be really tough for active dogs. They offer both public swim sessions and private rentals, so there’s something for every dog. 💙
