With SNAP benefits being taken away a lot of organizations have been trying to help out the community, and we will be one of them! On November 13th we will be hanging out at our building, 18 E North St. Danville IL, from noon to 5:30 (and probably later) to collect food to go to the St. James food bank. Bring whatever non-perishable food items you can spare, but we encourage you to bring full meals if you can. For example, instead of just spaghetti noodles bring noodles, sauce, and maybe some bread. Instead of just donating a can of beans donate things to make chili.
Come by 18 whenever you can to drop off food and feel free to hang out, we'll have music and board games!
If you don't have time to come out on Thursday we can also accept donations or our PayPal or CashApp, just don't forget to put in the notes that it is for the Food Bank!
