Released in 1968 as part of the album Steppenwolf, "Born to Be Wild" became one of the most iconic rock anthems of all time. The song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, cementing its place in rock history. Written by Mars Bonfire, it is often credited with popularizing the term "heavy metal" due to its lyrics and raw, powerful sound. With its roaring guitar riffs, driving rhythm, and rebellious spirit, "Born to Be Wild" perfectly captured the essence of freedom and adventure. The song gained further legendary status when it was featured in the 1969 film Easy Rider, becoming synonymous with biker culture and the open road. Decades later, it remains a timeless rock classic, frequently used in films, commercials, and pop culture references as the ultimate soundtrack for breaking free and embracing the wild side of life.

-.--.-.Fragile is the fourth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 1971.

It was the band's first album without pianist Tony Kaye, replaced by Rick Wakeman on keyboards. The band's lineup (Anderson, Howe, Squire, Bruford, and Wakeman) later became known as the "classic" one, in particular because they also produced the subsequent Close to the Edge, which is generally considered the group's pinnacle. Fragile also contains many songs that continue to be considered classics by Yes.-.-..-

In particular, the song Roundabout became one of Yes's most famous songs of the period.

Fragile was released by Atlantic Records in the UK in November 1971; its US release was delayed until the following year to capitalise on the success that the previous album, The Yes Album, was still enjoying...-.-

Despite Let It Be being one of The Beatles’ most famous albums, John Lennon had a complicated and largely negative view of it. His dissatisfaction with the album stemmed from multiple reasons, including the chaotic recording process, the involvement of producer Phil Spector, and the general tensions within the band at the time.

Originally intended as a back-to-basics project, Let It Be was meant to capture The Beatles playing live with minimal production. However, the sessions quickly turned into a mess, with frequent arguments and creative disagreements. The band was already drifting apart, and these tensions were evident in the recording process.

One of Lennon’s biggest issues was with Phil Spector’s production. After The Beatles had effectively split, Spector was brought in to remix and add orchestration to several tracks. Lennon later expressed disappointment with the overproduced sound, particularly disliking what Spector did with Paul McCartney’s song “The Long and Winding Road.” However, Lennon defended Spector’s work on Let It Be, saying that he had done his best with what he was given.

Another major reason Lennon disliked Let It Be was that it reminded him of a difficult time in the band’s history. By 1969, The Beatles were no longer functioning as a unified group, and Lennon had already mentally checked out. He later described the sessions as "hell" and dismissed the album as a poor representation of The Beatles at their best.

In later interviews, Lennon was blunt about his feelings toward Let It Be, calling it “garbage” and criticizing the entire project. However, despite his personal feelings, the album remains beloved by fans, featuring classics like “Let It Be,” “Get Back,” and “Across the Universe.”
