What a pure pleasure to work with Father/Son, Ian & Gabe Nemeth, along with their band to put together their new CD that intertwines "country roots with the driving beat of Rock & Roll!"

Well this has been a busy few months here at Studio 401 Recording...

Just finished the Travelling Radio Show CD Project at the same time I am working with Mackville Gospel Bluegrass band on their CD project and now Susan Williams and the Wright Groove band is coming back in this weekend to start working again on her second CD that we started over a year ago.

So it's country with TRS, Bluegrass with Mackville and Blues with Susan Williams. I never can tell what will come through my door next, but I wouldn't have it any other way... I have the best job in the world working with all these different talented musicians.

I am truly blessed getting to work with these folks....

Finished the tracking and overdubs for the Travelling Radio Show project today.
Doing a little bit of editing and cleaning up some of the track tomorrow. We're on the final phase of this project, mixing. More news as it become available.

Tomorrow I start the Traveling Radio Show CD project. This will be the second time I get to work with them. Looking forward to this project for some time now.

Thought I'd give you an update of what's going on here at Studio 401 Recording.

Still working the second CD for Susan Williams and the Wright Groove. We have 10 tracks started with I believe 2 more to go then all the overdubs to start.. Of course there is the mixing to be done before we can call it finished.

On the 19th of this month we start the Mackville Bluegrass Band CD project.. Mackville is from the Attwood Illinois area... Looking forward to doing one of my favorite styles of music... Mackville is a Bluegrass / Gospel style band. We have had our preproduction meeting and I look foreword to working with them in the studio. Very nice group of musicians.

On the 1st and 2nd of Feb. we start the Traveling Radio Show CD project. I believe it's going to be a 10 or 11 song CD. Great bunch of guys and fun to work with... I have had the pleasure of doing a track for them a few months ago . I'd like to thank Terry Iheartu Brown with CU Bands and Fans for introducing the band to me.

Looking like a great start of 2025 here at Studio 401 Recording. Will keep you up to date on the progress of these projects.

Getting to work today with one of my favorite female vocalists. Susan Williams..
Doing some final lead vocals for her new up and coming CD.

It's always a fun time in the studio with her. We have 10 song beds done already with various overdub's still to add and few more beds to do. I hope we can have the tracking done in the next month or two with just the mixing left to do...

I believe Susan is hoping for the first of the coming year to have the CD done and ready for sale.

Susan and the Wright Groove Band is playing in Catlin tonight at the Corner Lounge from 8-11. Come out and enjoy the show.
