The shoe kick transition made it look so easy… until I tried it 😂👠

I haven’t done a transition in a hot minute, so naturally I decided to attempt the viral shoe kick transition in my Christian Louboutin So Kates. Probably not my smartest choice 😅

So many tries for a few seconds of video… but wait until you see the final transition 👀

A luxury family getaway that actually feels like a vacation for the parents, too. Here’s what I’d know before booking when visiting Carmel Valley Ranch . 👉🏼

There’s genuinely enough here to build an entire weekend around the 500 acres property.

We never felt like we needed to leave the property to keep the kids entertained.

Our move: Adventure Den → Spa Aiyana. Everybody wins.

Our Ranch King Suite gave us extra living space, a balcony + fireplace—worth it when you’re not traveling as a couple.

Valley Kitchen gave us the elevated dinner we wanted without feeling uncomfortable bringing the kids.

There are multiple pools—including a family pool and adults-only options—so pool time can look very different depending on who you’re traveling with.

Save this one for your next Northern California family getaway.

Happy birthday to my favorite person to do life with. 🤍

Looking through all these photos made me realize just how much life we’ve already lived together.

So many countries. So many adventures. Beautiful places, unforgettable meals, spontaneous moments, big milestones, and a whole lot of memories in between.

But when I look back, the places aren’t really what I remember most.

It’s you.

You beside me through every version of our life. The person I get to laugh with, dream with, grow with, raise our family with, and keep discovering this world with.

We’ve changed so much over the years. We’ve grown individually, grown together, built a family, built a life, and somehow I feel like this chapter of us is only getting better.

I’m so grateful for the man you are, the husband you’ve become, and especially the father you are to our kids. They are so lucky to have you — and so am I.

Here’s to 44, to everything we’ve already experienced, and to all the places, memories and adventures we haven’t even dreamed up yet.

I’d still choose you as my travel partner, my teammate, and my person every single time.

Happy birthday, babe. I love doing this life with you. ❤️

Everyone talks about Positano Beach, but one of our favorite days on the Amalfi Coast was just a short boat ride away Positano Boats.

📍La Gavitella in Praiano La Gavitella - Restaurant & Beach .

Instead of spending the day surrounded by crowds, we found a peaceful beach club with oceanfront daybeds, crystal-clear water perfect for swimming, incredible coastal views, and a restaurant where lunch easily turns into a few relaxing hours.

If you’re planning an Amalfi Coast itinerary, I’d make this a full-day experience:
✔️ Boat ride from Positano
✔️ Relax by the sea
✔️ Swim in the crystal-clear water
✔️ Aperitivo on the rocks
✔️ Long Italian lunch with unforgettable views

This ended up being one of our favorite memories from the Amalfi Coast.

Save this for your Positano itinerary 🇮🇹✨

There are restaurants you visit for the view… and then there are places you end up coming back to because the entire experience is just that good.

Perched above Positano with sweeping views over the coastline, Caffè Positano quickly became one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. We first came for lunch and loved it so much that we returned for dinner—and watching Positano transform from golden hour into a sea of twinkling lights made the evening feel even more magical.

My tip: reserve a terrace table and time your dinner around sunset. Come hungry for fresh seafood, beautifully prepared Italian dishes, local wine and the kind of warm hospitality that makes you want to linger a little longer.

And when your seafood arrives with its own grand entrance… you know it is going to be a memorable night. 🤍

🌅 Travel tip: book ahead and request outdoor terrace seating
