At tonight’s Select Board Meeting, we had the pleasure of honoring Ben Smith , a truly remarkable young man who has been a student play-by-play announcer with DCTV for the past three years.

In 2022, Ben stepped into this role as a sophomore, bringing his love for sports and unshakable Dartmouth pride to every game he called. His dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence never wavered. His energy, humor, and drive to improve have left a lasting impact on both our broadcasts and the Dartmouth community.

As Ben heads to Dean College, we know he’ll continue to make us proud, and we look forward to seeing where his talent and determination take him. Ben, thank you for everything you’ve done for DCTV and Dartmouth. You’ll always have a place here with us!
