OUR NEXT SNOW MAKER: Snow lovers, get ready! More snow is on the way come this weekend.

Right now, its too early to throw out accumulation ranges. We still have a fairly big spread on outcomes across the models. Tomorrow, we will get some additional model data that should help us zero in on a range. Either way, accumulating snow is expected late Saturday into Sunday morning.

HEADS UP TOMORROW: With the frigid temperatures expected, steam fog will be possible. This occurs when the water temperature is much warmer than the air temperature. The official totals are in…this one was definitely a doozy! I expected a little bit more out of the deformation band, which is the band of snow on the back end of the low, but we still ended up within range of the forecasted 8”-14”.

Just outside the viewing area, some cities picked up over 15” of snow.

More snow is likely Monday night, with an additional 1”-2” of accumulation possible.
