STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Evie Breitbach '25 visited St. Ambrose the day after injuring her foot. She admits that she probably should've canceled but instead she found the campus community to be incredibly supportive and welcoming. Evie was also impressed by SAU’s marching band, noting, “It’s a legitimate size—not many comparably sized schools have that!” Evie is active in SAUtv - St. Ambrose University Television, the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bee Marching Band, and serves as Editor for both The Buzz - St. Ambrose University Newspaper and the Quercus St. Ambrose University Creative Arts Journal. She won first place in a duet at the concerto contest with Symphonic Band, has received various awards for her podcast produced through KALA Radio, and has been accepted into Alpha Chi Honors. Evie appreciates how SAU allows her to pursue her passions while providing the support she needs to achieve her goals.
