Traffic Advisory: Westbound I-4 Closed at Mile Marker 59 near ChampionsGate in Osceola County

Motorists are advised that all westbound lanes on Interstate 4 (I-4) are closed at mile marker 59 near ChampionsGate in Osceola County due to a crash involving hazardous materials (fertilizer). The two left lanes on eastbound I-4 are also closed.

All westbound traffic is being diverted off exit 62 to World Drive. The westbound I-4 on ramp at World Drive is closed.

Motorists should consider taking World Drive to U.S. 192 as an alternate. S.R. 429 and S.R. 417 (tolled) are also options to avoid this crash scene.

The Florida Department of Transportation advises motorists to drive safely, avoid this area, and seek alternate routes. The Department is adjusting traffic signal timing in this area to help the flow of traffic.
