If you’ve “EVER” been to a party I organized or hosted, you might recognize the crazy atmosphere I strived to create in the following video. This particular video from back in the day profoundly shaped my vision as a young man and it “WAS” the source of my inspiration. I remember saying to myself, that’s the type parties I want have! And if you have partied with me, it’s safe to say I accomplished the goal and received a platinum plaque for it! So blame it on them! Digital Underground, “Do What You Like”🤣😂😁 🙏🏽

Jelana is probably right about her translation but she still attempted to belittle Taylor Thompson by claiming she was “uneducated” in ethics related to tennis. Regardless of the context or translation, she intended to diminish and insult a Black woman on the biggest stage, who has now become a household name. PERIOD!! 🎤

After the abolition of slavery in the British Empire in 1833, the government allocated £20 million—a substantial amount at that time—to compensate slave owners for the loss of their “property.” These payments were funded through a loan taken out by the government, and it took many years to repay this debt. The final payment related to this compensation was made in 2015, marking the end of a long historical commitment to settle that debt.

This remarkable woman was truly one of a kind, radiating authenticity and kindness in every interaction. Her well-rounded intellectual spirit illuminated her thoughtful conversations, impacting everyone fortunate to know her.

I almost hesitated to post this picture, as all the other images were professionally done headshots in a studio. I didn’t want to feel like I was selfishly sharing a photo to validate our friendship. I remember the last time we were in each other‘s presence and the interactions on social media.

Thus, I will conclude with all your accomplishments, everything still circles back to the foundations of Black Entertainment Television, where collaboration and support within the BET family are vital.

We all feel the weight of this loss as we witnessed your courage in the face of pain. We stand together in this difficult time and wish Ananda a peaceful journey. R.I.P.

I am honored and grateful to be inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame. This recognition transcends any personal achievement; it celebrates the vibrant legacy of Black radio and the remarkable voices and people that have shaped our industry and guided me along the way.

I want to sincerely express my gratitude to the Hall of Fame committee for this incredible honor. I am equally thankful for my colleagues, mentors, and listeners who have been with me throughout the journey years.

For years, as a talent, you wonder if you are seen and or honestly heard, and this answers any questions I may have pondered.

To my friends, family, and fans, your continuous support, belief in my work and the deep connection we share from the microphone through the speakers inspires and excites me daily. I am grateful for each and every one of you.
