Gig #2 — Another Wedding Ceremony & Reception! 💍🎧

This time I had the pleasure of DJ’ing Team Verrillo’s wedding in Downtown Miamisburg! JoJo & I had a great time! Loved the Star City venue, loved the amazing guests who danced all night, and loved that the newly married couple and their guests finished off the ceremony with a shot! 🥃🎉

The Groom’s 11-year-old son, Joey, was the Best Man, and he absolutely stole the show! He gave a phenomenal Best Man toast and then hit the dance floor with some serious Michael Jackson moves! 🕺🏽🎤 He definitely had everyone’s attention!

DJ’d 2 more gigs this past weekend! 🎧🎶

Gig #1 — First Friday at the W-P Club!

Great turnout and a fun night all around! We also celebrated the 99th birthday of Wright Field/Wright-Patterson AFB with cake and a history brief on the Wright Brothers. Pretty cool! 🎂✈️

There was lots of karaoke throughout the night, so shoutout to all the singers who grabbed the mic and helped make the night so much fun! 🎤🎶 We were having such a good time that I ended up playing for an extra hour!

DJ’d the Miami Valley School (MVS) High School Homecoming Dance this past weekend! 🕺🏽💃🏽

I loved the smaller venue—it made for a great atmosphere, and these teens danced all night! As a DJ, nothing makes me happier than seeing the dance floor packed and everyone having a great time! 🎶🔥

🎧 3 DJ gigs in 3 days last week — Gig #3! 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🎶

Finished up my three-gig stretch by DJing the annual Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio! 🇺🇸✈️

This is one event I’m always happy to volunteer my time for and play music to help keep all the runners motivated and moving! 🎶💪🏽

It was a beautiful but HOT day! ☀️🔥 I was staged near the 21-mile marker by Gate 15A, right before the runners left the base and had to tackle that bridge over the highway. At 21 miles, I’m sure a little music and encouragement didn’t hurt! 😂

One of the best parts was seeing several friends come through during the race. I even got a few very sweaty hugs! 😂🤗 I’ll take them!

This event is always a great time, and I look forward to being part of it every year. Much respect to ALL the runners who pushed through the heat and crossed that finish line! 🏅👏🏽

🎧 3 DJ gigs in 3 days last week — Gig #2! 🎶🔥

This one took me & my Son, JoJo to Cincinnati, Ohio to DJ the annual HOLA (Hispanic Organization and LatinX Awareness) Gala, sponsored by Xavier University! 💃🏽🕺🏽

Yes…Xavier asked DJ Soy Sauce to play a LATIN PARTY! 😂🌶️🎧 And we had a blast!

What an awesome turnout from Xavier’s diverse student community! The Latin food was phenomenal and I ate way too much Tres Leches cake & Flan! I also got to switch things up behind the decks with Salsa, Bachata, Merengue & Reggaeton all night long! 🔥🎶

And yes…I even snuck in the Macarena! 😂 Still a crowd favorite no matter what ethnicity you are! The guests kept that dance floor moving all night!

A huge THANK YOU to the HOLA Council for trusting DJ Soy Sauce with the music and allowing me to be part of such a fun event! 🙏🏽

Gig #1 was a beautiful wedding at Crockett’s Run in Hocking Hills — Logan, Ohio! 💍🌲

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Tyler & Emmalee! Both are currently serving in the United States Air Force, so it was definitely a treat for this retired Air Force Chief to be part of their special day! 🇺🇸✈️

The weather held up perfectly, allowing both the ceremony and reception to be outdoors. Beautiful venue, great City BBQ buffet, and an awesome crowd that kept the dance floor moving! 🎶💃🕺

We had a great turnout for an awesome indoor & outdoor event, and the weather couldn’t have been better—it was an absolutely gorgeous day! ☀️ Great music, great people, and a great way to celebrate Labor Day!

🎧🌎 DJ’d the Annual International Ball hosted by HQ AFMC this past weekend!

Another great turnout with 300+ guests and military leaders representing 22 nations! This is always one of my favorite events to DJ. Seeing all the international officers in their military mess dress representing their countries — and their spouses dressed to the nines — makes for such a unique and beautiful evening!

Joy usually comes with me to this event, and we always enjoy seeing everyone dressed up and experiencing all the different cultures represented in one room. ❤️ She wasn’t able to join me this year, but she was definitely on my mind throughout the evening. 🙏🏽❤️

Loved seeing the Chinese performers and all the couples enjoying themselves on the dance floor! 💃🏽🕺🏽 Also loved seeing all the young cadet volunteers let loose!

Shout out to the Nat’l Air Force Museum staff, catering team, cadet volunteers, and the entire planning committee for another wonderful event and for the opportunity to DJ!

Had the honor of DJ’ing Team Wright-Patterson’s Senior Noncommissioned Officer Induction Ceremony last night! 🎧🎶🇺🇸

What a wonderful event! I always love DJ’ing at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force—such an incredible venue, and the acoustics in there are amazing! Loved seeing the kiddos dancing!🔥

With Joy still in the hospital, this event was a welcome distraction and gave me a chance to focus on something different for a little while. It was also great running into some old friends, and I truly appreciated everyone asking about Joy and how she’s doing. That meant a lot to me and my family. 🙏🏽❤️

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Team W-P’s 60 newest Senior NCOs! 🎉👏🏽 38 of the promotees were able to attend last night’s ceremony. It was awesome seeing all the families, supervisors, friends, and leadership teams there supporting and celebrating them as they step into this next level of leadership!

Big shoutout to the Team W-P Top 3 Association for putting together a great event and for giving DJ Soy Sauce the opportunity to provide the music! 🎧🎶
