Hello! Newbie here & I’ve got questions…
My husband & I just purchased our first TT, 2017 36’ Keystone Outback Toyhauler. We won’t be unloading our motorcycle until we get to our site. We have a Ford F250 Diesel to pull her. Haven’t decided on taking our 2 bigger dogs or leaving them home with our adult son. Having never camped like this before we don’t want to make this harder than it has to be (although I am upset at the thought of leaving them home)
In his job he is assigned a new site for work every 5-6 months and after a year in crappy apartments we figured this will be much better!! Our first assignment is New Braunfels, TX and we’re so happy to begin our new adventure.
We are traveling from NC and breaking our trip up with stops in GA (near Atlanta), AL (Spanish Fort), TX (Port Arthur). These are just my initial thoughts on stops using the internet and checking availability of RV parks along the way. For example, just last night I changed my mind about stopping for a day in New Orleans.
We’d love to hear of places to stay around these stops (or wherever) that are good. Also what about staying at say Love’s Travel stops or other places like that? I need a better way to map these trips than google maps. Is there?
Thanks for reading all this 😂
Safe travels to you all! Pics of her getting a bath last week.
