The Story You Want To Tell Cynthia Rush helps others preserve their family stories by turning conversations into soft bound books families can treasure for lifetimes.

I grew up in a family of high achievers. I didn't teach myself to read at age two, I didn't become a Rhodes Scholar, and I wasn't the sweetest or most patient person in the world. I believed I should make a huge difference in the world. I knew I could write. I thought I was supposed to write magnificent writing that would change everyone's lives. The stories I edit/ write/ preserve through TheStoryYouWantToTell.com are crucially important to the people who write them and the people who read them. Helping others preserve family stories is what I am meant to do.

Update - March 2026:
Life here is good. I've had a long haul. I had 4 years of problems from 4 infected dental implants, a problem that was diagnosed a couple years after Lockdown began, which coincided with the death of my husband of 30 years, Pat Coffey. So it's been six years or more of difficulty.
But things are better! I finally got a permanent replacement bridge to go on my permanent replacement implants, so when I smile, I look like the old me!
For some reason, this has improved my energy level.
I have not been bustling around, looking for folks who are ready to record their stories, but I am revived! I'm ready for discussion about your book if you're ready to begin the process of writing it.
